Terms & Conditions
Introduction
These Terms and Conditions govern all bookings and services provided by Beliways Adventures Limited ("Beliways Adventures," "we," "us," or "our"). By making a booking with us, you agree to be bound by these terms. These terms are effective as of January 1, 2024.
1. Booking & Confirmation
A booking is confirmed upon receipt of a signed booking form and the required deposit. We will issue a written confirmation within 48 hours. It is your responsibility to ensure all personal details provided are accurate and match your travel documents exactly.
2. Payment Terms
A non-refundable deposit of 30% of the total booking value is required to secure your reservation. The remaining balance is due no later than 60 days prior to your departure date. Bookings made within 60 days of departure require full payment at the time of booking. We accept bank transfers, credit/debit cards, and mobile money (M-Pesa). All prices are quoted in USD or KES as indicated.
3. Cancellation Policy
Cancellations must be received in writing. The following fees apply based on days prior to departure: • 60+ days before departure: Deposit forfeited • 45–59 days before departure: 50% of total booking value • 30–44 days before departure: 75% of total booking value • Less than 30 days before departure: 100% of total booking value (no refund) We strongly recommend purchasing comprehensive travel insurance to cover unforeseen cancellations.
4. Amendments & Changes
If you wish to change your booking after confirmation, we will do our best to accommodate the request subject to availability. An amendment fee of USD 50 per change may apply. Changes requested within 30 days of departure may not be possible and could be treated as a cancellation.
5. Travel Insurance
We strongly recommend all travelers obtain comprehensive travel insurance prior to departure. Coverage should include trip cancellation, medical evacuation, personal accident, and baggage loss. Beliways Adventures is not responsible for any losses incurred due to the absence of adequate travel insurance.
6. Liability & Disclaimers
Beliways Adventures acts as an agent for hotels, airlines, vehicle hire companies, and other third-party service providers. We are not liable for any injury, loss, damage, accident, or expense arising from services provided by third parties. Our liability in all cases is limited to the total amount paid for the booking. Participation in adventure activities carries inherent risk, and clients participate at their own risk.
7. Force Majeure
We are not liable for any failure to perform obligations due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, war, civil unrest, government actions, pandemics, or airline strikes. In such cases, we will endeavor to offer alternative arrangements or a credit toward future travel.
8. Health & Safety
Clients are responsible for ensuring they are medically fit to travel and for obtaining required vaccinations, medications, or health clearances. We recommend consulting a travel health clinic at least 6 weeks before departure. Any pre-existing medical conditions must be disclosed at the time of booking.
