Colonia & Montevideo Uruguay Trip Package
Uruguay
1 / 4

Six days through Uruguay's coastal highlights: Colonia del Sacramento, Montevideo, wine tasting at local vineyards, and free days on the beaches of Punta del Este.
Uruguay is one of South America's smaller countries but covers a remarkable variety: colonial heritage, a cosmopolitan capital, wine country, and some of the continent's most relaxed beach resorts. This six-day package visits the main highlights along the southern coast. Colonia del Sacramento is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the oldest towns in South America, founded by the Portuguese in 1680. Montevideo is the capital, a port city with a long seafront promenade, a compact old town, and some of the best food markets in the region. Punta del Este, the final stop, is a beach resort on a narrow peninsula between the Río de la Plata and the Atlantic, with three free days to explore at your own pace. Note: this package can be combined with the Argentina or Brazil tour as an extension.
