The Sands at Chale is the only island resort in Kenya, lying just four degrees south of the equator. Chale Island offers coral seas with abundant fish life, coastal forests with mangroves and white sand beaches, and is close to Kenya's safari parks. The island measures 1.2 km long by 0.8 km wide, situated 600 metres offshore, 10 km south of Diani.
